Applications for Sydney Jamboree 2018 will close midnight AEST 6th May 2018 . Payment in full of the Jamboree fee is due at this time
Girls will be allocated one Adventure (10-14) or Expedition (14-17). Please tell us which you would prefer, you have the option of three choices and will be allocated one of these.
Girls will participate in a wide range of exciting and challenging activities with their patrol and friends, both on and off site, during the rest of Jamboree week.
Activity (Adventure or Expedition) allocations will be made using a random ballot system and girls will be advised as soon as possible after applications close on 6th May 2018. Any girls who choose, and are allocated, an activity which incurs further cost will have the fee added to their invoice by 13th May. Full payment of all activity and Bridge Climb fees is due by the 30th May.
If you have applied for the Bridge Climb you will be allocated to this activity in addition to your Adventure or Expedition.
Participants who would like to make further payments or more regular payments should log in to their database invoice page, choose ‘additional payment’ and type in the amount being paid in the appropriate place. The database will automatically allocate this payment to your account and show the outstanding figure at the bottom.
Transport: Participants will travel by public transport during the week. Free Public Transport has been provided through the generous support of the NSW Roads and Martine Services.
Sydney Jamboree—come prepared
Sydney Jamboree 2018 will be full of action with an exciting program. To allow everyone to have a fantastic time it is important you arrive well prepared and ready to quickly settle into camp life.

Length of camp
30 September to 6 October for Youth participants.
Option: Guides in their final year of school who are studying for the school leavers exams (HSC or equivalent) can apply to attend the first three days. Cost: $650.
Guides who apply for this option will arrive with their Contingent on 30 September and depart p.m. Tuesday 2 October by private arrangement, parent pick-up, time to be advised. This option does not include an Expedition.
Youth participants will be 10 years old on or before 1st June 2018 and under 18 years at 30th September, 2018.
Girls who are 14 have the opportunity to choose whether they wish to be patrolled with the 10–14 Groups or 14–17 Group. If 10–14, the girls will choose an Adventure. If 14–17, the girls will choose an Expedition.
Want to camp with 1 or 2 friends? When applying it will be handy to have their Jamboree Registration number (from the database) and remember they need to be in your age group too.

10–14 year old Groups
Girls may choose to explore or investigate, be outdoors or be amazed by the future.

14–17 year old Group
These overnight expeditions will challenge you! If you like outdoor excitement, you may choose to hike or paddle and explore sites around the city. You could investigate the past at some historical and spooky places or be amazed at where the digital world is heading.

Girls will be given the chance to experience the amazing sites of the Sydney Olympic Park and Newington Armory. They will also experience international and cultural activities with their patrols
There will be an opportunity for a unique view of Sydney’s skyline by participating in Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb. This activity is open to all participants .
